DISHWASHER PROBLEMS

CONSTANT/LOUD NOISES

Repairmen are experienced in troubleshooting and repairing dishwasher issues that cause irregular sounds to come out of the appliance. The cause of the sounds is usually either a broken washer arm bearing, pump housing or motor bushing. Because these are all common issues, customers can rely on us to repair them right away!

LEAKING WATER

There are primarily two reasons a dishwasher starts to leak water. One reason is there’s an issue with the door closure or latch and the part will need to be replaced. Another issue is a failed water inlet valve that should be repaired right after our arrival to your home. We have all of the manufacturer replacement parts to repair Whirlpool, GE, Sears and all common brands of dishwashers.

DOESN’T TURN ON

If a dishwasher will not turn on, you need to ensure the appliance is plugged in and none of the circuit breakers. If that’s not the issue, then the problem might be related to the door closure switches, electronic controls, thermal fuses or motor relays.

DOESN’T DRAIN OR FILL

A dishwasher is supposed to fill up with water and then drain water after the dishes are clean. Your dishwasher won’t fill when there’s a broken door switch or float switch or a broken water inlet valve. A dishwasher will not drain when there’s a malfunctioning drain pump motor or drain hose on the unit.

WON’T CLEAN DISHES

A dishwasher is not much use when dishes are still dirty after a cycle. The dishes will sometimes be dirty if there’s a broken housing gasket, water tube or filter or spray arm. We have manufacturer replacement parts to repair these common dishwasher problems in no time.

DOESN’T DRY DISHES

The purpose of a dishwasher is for the appliance to both wash and dry dishes. You don’t want to hand dry your dishes after a cycle. A dishwasher does not dry when there is a broken rinse aid dispenser, heating element or thermostat. We are able to repair or replace manufacturer parts that perform the drying functions of all brands and models of dishwashers.

DOESN’T DISPENSE DETERGENT

For a dishwasher to wash dishes, it should be able to dispense detergent or soap within the appliance. This will not happen if there’s a broken bi-metal release, timer or wax motor.
